Jan Barboglio
Jan Barboglio designs are celebrated for their quality, warmth, and artistic flair, combining everyday practicality with a magical, hacienda-inspired elegance. Barboglio’s work is recognized worldwide and has become highly collectible.
She started by creating sculptural accessories and furniture for her own home, inspired by her childhood in north-central Mexico. She began with designs like wax grabbers for her candelabras and altar pieces, later expanding to iron chargers, leather goods, and saddle stools. Over time, her collection grew to include crosses, crowns, wildflowers, guardian angels, and her signature Box of Miracles, blending spiritual elements from old Mexico into home décor.
Her artistic designs evolved to include glass, wood, mortar, and wax, with notable pieces like heavy glass goblets and wooden tables. The collection’s mix of materials such as wood, iron, glass, crystal, and silver has become her signature style for a unique form of craftsmanship. Known for attention to detail and storytelling, Barboglio's pieces evoke the timeless, rugged beauty of Mexico, drawing from her childhood experiences on a cattle ranch.
